Paige Perry

Shemeka “Paige” Perry was born July 8, 1981 in Toccoa, Georgia to Paul Perry and Latricia Tate.  At an early age she joined Trinity CME Church, where she continues to serve faithfully and prides herself in being a “LIFE LONG” C.M.E.  She has served Trinity-Toccoa in various positions, including being a member of the Rossie T. Hollis, Mattie E. Coleman, Christian Youth Fellowship, Youth Choir, Voices of Trinity Mass Choir, an acolyte, the immediate past Youth Director, and is a member of the Stewardess Board.  Additionally, she serves as the Treasurer of the Elberton-Gainesville District Board of Christian Education, Co-Chairman of the Elberton-Gainesville District Young Adult Council, a member of the Phyllis H. Bedford Young Adult Missionary Circle, and is a member of the Georgia North Joint Board of Finance.  From 2008-2012, Paige held the position of Chief of Staff for the Connectional Young Adult Ministry, and was a Young Adult Delegate to the 2010 General Conference, representing the Sixth Episcopal District. 

Most recently, Paige served as the 2012 Director of Housing for the Sixth Episcopal District’s Christian Leadership School and as the Coordinator of the 2012 Connectional Youth and Young Adult Conference (CYYAC) Distribution Center. It was at this same conference that Paige was elected as Vice President of the Connectional Young Adult Ministry.

After graduating from Stephens County High School in 1999, she matriculated to Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia, later graduating from Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Management.  She is currently pursuing a Masters of Science degree in Healthcare Administration at Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Professionally, Paige is employed as a Social Insurance Specialist with the Social Security Administration in Gainesville, Georgia.  She is also employed with her family’s owned and operated business, Drew Funeral Home.

Community service and volunteerism have always been important to Paige.  She is a member of the Order of the Eastern Stars, Aquarius Chapter #334 in Toccoa, a Charter Member of the Simply Stunning Sigma Sigma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and currently a member of the Nu Lambda Omega Chapter in Atlanta, Georgia where is serves as the Ivy Leaf Reporter.

She lives by the words of her favorite scripture, Psalm 34:1 – “I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
