CYAM Retreat: Call For Papers

It is with great excitement that the Connectional Young Adult Ministry of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church extends this call for workshop proposals for the upcoming Young Adult Retreat at the Hilton Garden Inn in New Orleans, Louisiana, May 24-27, 2018. The RESET (Refresh, Reclaim, Renew) retreat, formerly known as FOCUS and FIRE, is designed to empower Young Adults in the CME Church around spiritual refreshing, creative worship, biblical studies, emerging ministry, and professional and personal development.
Proposals should include the name of the presenter(s), church affiliation, and title of the presentation in the header, as well as state which set of dialogues (listed in bold) the presentation will address. Proposals should also include a brief outline of why the presentation is significant to young adults and why it is appropriate for this gathering. Please list any materials needed to realize the presentation. If your presentation is based on an essay or book, please attach that information as well. All proposals should be under 300 words.
Selected presenters may receive some registration or conference assistance.
